Kailey Giordano

Faculty

Kailey holds a Ph.D. in Renaissance Literature from the University of California San Diego. Originally from California, she recently relocated to Bozeman to support her partner as he begins an exciting new chapter in his nursing career. At the heart of Kailey’s teaching is a deep love for science, nature, and the full range of human experience. She’s passionate about exploring the ways we connect with the world around us — through literature, history, and direct engagement with the natural environment. What excites her most is the opportunity to help students discover what it means to truly love and care for nature, not only by reading what writers across cultures and centuries have said about the wild, but by stepping outside and experiencing it together. Outside the classroom, Kailey enjoys writing, spending quiet moments in the woods, and playing with her dog Sierra Mae, an adorable four-year-old mini Australian Shepherd.
