Headwaters Parent Communication Guidelines
Our first priority is your student and our time with them. To maximize that time, we ask families to follow these guidelines regarding school communication. We will try and get back to you as soon as possible.
We encourage parents and guardians to report student absences to firstname.lastname@example.org or leave a message at 585-9997 option 4 for our record keeping regarding excused and unexcused absences. If you do not communicate your child's absence and they are not present for a class, it will be assumed it is an unexcused absence.
To help our students bridge from elementary to high school, we encourage students to communicate directly with their teachers about missing assignments. Students should additionally check their Google classroom and Blackbaud regarding make up work.

For student concerns and specific questions about your student, email your child's advisor. If you are uncertain of your child's advisor, please contact the office and we will help connect you to the right person.

As we work to grow confident and capable learners and help them bridge from childhood through adolescence, don't forget to always ask your student questions first, they know a lot even if they are reticent to share with you!
