HWA Internet Usage Policies

Headwaters Academy provides Wi-Fi access for daily school work. Students BYOD (Bring their Own Device) as a required school supply for both school and homework.  If financial hardship prevents your family from acquiring a device, please reach out ASAP.  Chromebooks are required for 6th grade and are a preferred device for all middle schoolers if you are looking to replace or upgrade a current laptop or device.

Use of the HWA WiFi network is required and intended for educational purposes only and is filtered and monitored for student safety.

 

To use the HWA WiFi, we require a security certificate is installed on all student devices that might be used at school to ensure that Securly is able to properly filter all HTTPS traffic.  Please use the link below to install the certificate on your personal device.
