Tuition fees should not be a barrier for families interested in receiving a Headwaters Academy education for their children. We are invested in offering your child an exceptional education. No matter the financial resources, qualified students are encouraged to apply. Financial awards are based solely on a family’s financial need.
Financial Aid Application Process: Financial determinations for financial aid go through the National Association of Independent Schools, School and Student Services. Parents go to the NAIS-SSS website to complete an online form of the Parent Financial Statement (PFS), the application used to determine a family’s financial status for the 2018-19 school year. The NAIS-SSS website has a non-refundable $49 fee to process a PFS. Use the school code, 1768, for Headwaters Academy. You will be asked to send supporting documentation or upload in the form of completed 1040 tax returns and all attachments with the SSS cover sheet. If you need assistance, please call (800) 344-8328. They are open 9-8, Monday-Friday, and on Saturday, 9-4, EST. Please see the Financial Aid FAQ in the Admissions Menu.
ACE Scholarships: The ACE Scholarships are a new addition to the Montana financial aid picture and offer a supplementary assistance to applicants needing tuition assistance. This scholarship is available to low-income applicants and partially funds their school tuition for the year. The deadline for applying is early May of each year. For application guidelines and information check ACE's website.
