Class Schedule 

Headwaters Academy uses a block schedule (class times last 85 minutes) Monday through Thursday.  Teachers at HWA find that the increased span of teaching time allows for longer cooperative learning activities to be completed in one class period.  Additionally, students have more time for reflection and less information to process over the course of a school day.  On Friday, students attend all of their classes, each lasting 45 minutes.
